touch pr created an unforgettable event with a difference – a whisky tasting in the sky. Key media, customers, consumers and industry influencers were invited to a tutored whisky tasting with the Grant’s ambassador whilst suspended 50 meters in the air over the South Bank. On the ground sampling activity engaged passers-by and ‘Different Angle’ photography featuring the iconic London skyline was issued to the wider media raising further awareness of the event.
The stunt photography was picked up in 5 nationals the following day and was featured in all key trade titles that week. Over 3000 wet samples were served and 5000 leaflets distributed. All 20 key media titles who attended went on to feature Grant’s Whisky in the run up to Christmas reaching over 35m shoppers at a key trading time.
